Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Suite Dreams: Idle Hotel (the "game") collects, why, and the choices you have. The game is made by Pork Katsu Games ("we", "us"). If you have any questions, email us at support@porkkatsugames.com.
The short version
- Your hotel's progress is saved on your device, and backed up to the cloud so you can get it back on a new phone.
- We don't ask for your name, and we never see your payment details.
- Optional video ads are shown through Unity LevelPlay, which uses your device's advertising ID. You can limit this in the game and in your phone's settings.
- We don't sell your information.
Information the game uses
Game progress. Your hotels, money, upgrades, decorations, goals and settings are saved in a file on your device.
Cloud save (Unity Gaming Services). To protect your progress, the game backs up its save file to Unity's Cloud Save service. Each install gets a random player ID, and the save is stored with that ID, along with a random code for your device so the game can tell which phone saved last. If you choose to sign in (Settings → Cloud save), you sign in with a Unity account (which may use your email address, or your Google or Apple sign-in); this links your account to your player ID so your hotel can be restored on another device. Signing in is optional.
Ads (Unity LevelPlay). The game is free and shows optional rewarded video ads: you choose to watch one to get a bonus, such as a tip or a faster build. Ads are provided by Unity LevelPlay and the advertising networks it works with (currently ironSource Ads and Unity Ads). To show and measure ads, they may collect your device's advertising ID, device type and settings, IP address (which gives an approximate location), and how you interact with ads. The first time you play, the game asks whether ads may be personalized; you can change your answer any time in Settings → Personalised ads. If you say no, ads are still shown but aren't tailored to you. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads; iPhone: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking). If you buy Remove Ads, the game no longer shows ad videos.
Purchases. In-app purchases are handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We receive a confirmation of what was bought (so we can give it to you and restore it on a new device), but never your card or payment details.
Time check. To stop clock tricks with offline earnings and build timers, the game reads the current time from a public web server (Google, Cloudflare or Apple). No personal information is sent.
Notifications. If you allow them, the game schedules reminders on your device (for example, when your hotel has earned a lot, or a build has finished). These are created on your device; we don't send them from a server.
Why we use it
- To save your progress and restore it on a new device.
- To show optional ads and give you their rewards, and to deliver and restore your purchases.
- To keep the game fair and working properly.
Who we share it with
Only the services that make the game work, which act on our behalf:
- Unity Technologies (Cloud Save, sign-in, LevelPlay and Unity Ads): Unity's player privacy policy
- Advertising networks used by Unity LevelPlay, under their own privacy policies.
- Google Play (Google privacy policy) and Apple (Apple privacy policy) for purchases.
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it for any other purpose, unless the law requires it.
How long it's kept
Your cloud save is kept while you play the game. You can delete it at any time in the game (Settings → Cloud save → Delete my cloud data) or by asking us; see Delete Your Data. Uninstalling the game deletes the save on your device.
Children
The game is suitable for everyone but is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, the EU, UK or California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your information, or object to how it's used. To make a request, email support@porkkatsugames.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
